Any time you argue with a liberal online, you know it’s coming. You’re going to be called a racist for being Republican. Because as they state “everyone knows” the Republican party and Democrat party “switched places” on civil rights and minority relations. Unless you’re a naive liberal, the idea just sounds absurd. Just imagine, two large groups of people just immediately, at the same time, decide the grass is greener on the other side. Politically, this is the equivalent of scientifically stating that the Earth is flat. To say it’s idiotic, would be an understatement. Just imagine tomorrow, you turn on the news and found out that every staff member at Coke had joined Pepsi and in return, every staff member from Pepsi had left for Coke. Or everyone from Apple and Microsoft switched places. Yes, it’s that ridiculous. They will usually say that the Democrat racists were the Dixiecrats, who were so upset that the Democrats stopped being racist that they joined the Republican party. Are you ready for this massive list of Dixiecrats who became Republicans?
Strom Thurmond, Jesse Helms and Mills E. Godwin, Jr. Now admittedly, I don’t hold an advanced math degree. But three people doesn’t exactly seem like a platoon swap. As a matter of fact, Robert Byrd and most of the KKK members must not have gotten the memo, because they stayed with the Democrats. But Lyndon B. Johnson was a Democrat when the 1964 Civil Rights Bill passed. So he must be a Civil Rights hero, right? The Democrats made the bill pass, right? According to multiple reports, LBJ was a well known racist who would drop the word n*gger as frequently as most people say “the.” Okay, maybe that’s a stretch, but he did use the word frequently. And he did howerver see the value of winning the black vote. He proudly exclaimed that “he’d have n*ggers voting Democrat 200 years!” But as far as the Civil Rights Bill, it only passed because of Republican votes. As a matter of fact, some Democrats, lead by Hillary Clinton’s “friend and mentor” (also KKK member) Robert Byrd, attempted a 14 hour filibuster in an attempt to kill the Civil Rights bill. So the actual fact is: the Democrat party voted for slavery, voted against the rights of former slaves to vote, were behind Jim Crow laws, founded the KKK, support Planned Parenthood (which was founded by Margaret Sanger using Nazi ideals to exterminate minorities), and voted against EVERY civil rights bill in history by the numbers. They did however somehow manage to win over black voters using government entitlements and broken promises. Even though Malcom X called black Democrats “chumps” and “race traitors” around 93% of African Americans who vote, vote for the DNC today. If I was black, I can’t imagine what incentives it would take for me to vote for the political party that has literally been trying to destroy my people throughout history. I am however certain, that it would take a whole hell of a lot more than food stamps though.
